Mission Statement
Club-Us-For-You aims to foster the development of mature and responsible
women through:
- Values education and character formation
- practical application of human virtues.
- Social awareness
- etiquette, friendship, peer group dynamics, spirit of service
at home and in the community.
- Cultural development
- history, literature, current affairs, analytical approach to
news and entertainment.
- Professional development
- career planning, computer and other skills.
- Study appreciation
- study habits, use of time, written and verbal fluency, course
selection.
- Home management skills
- cooking, sewing, household chores, art and craft.

What is Club-Us-For-You?
The Club is a registered society modeled after similar girls clubs
in different parts of the world. Tamezin in London, Carena in Barcelona
and Narra Youth Club in Manila Why this Club?
With the rising affluence and globalisation of Singapore, our young
people are exposed to a myriad of cultures, work ethics and values.
The youth of today therefore need to acquire early in life a mature
and objective outlook of the world around them.
Who is Managing the Club?
A volunteer group comprising professional women and dynamic homemakers
handle the activities of the Club.
Activities in Brief
Art and craft classes; cooking; sewing; home management skills;
field trips; study tours; camps; book, film, music and dance appreciation;
foreign language and English speech; drama classes and sports.
Club members meet fortnightly on Saturday afternoons for the above
cultural activities and sports as well as for talks on human virtues
and personal development. Beside group activities, there is also
one-to-one mentoring between the girls and trained adults managing
the Club.
Parents are encouraged to play an active role in all aspects of
the Club.
How is the Club financed?
Aside from the annual membership fee, the activities are
sponsored by parents and well-wishers.
Who can join the Club?
Recognising the varied interests of the girls, members are divided
into:
Level 1: 7 to 12 years old
Level 2: 13 to 17 years old
