James B. Stenson
James
B. Stenson is a writer and lecturer who has been encouraging
thousands of couples around the world to raise their children
well. He is credited with more than 20 years' experience
in education and has published several titles on the subject
of parenting. These include popular books such as "Lifeline:
The Religious Upbringing of Your Children"
and "Upbringing:
A Discussion Handbook for Parents of Young Children".
He has also authored bestseller booklets like the "Successful
Fathers and Preparing for Peer Pressure".
James has traveled extensively throughout the U.S.,
Canada, the U.K., Australia and the Philippines to lecture
to parents. Some of his talks have been taped and the latest
set of four audiotapes titled Effective Leadership Techniques
of Successful Parents are now available for use in small
group parenting workshops.
Aside from his educational experience, James has worked
as:
- Editor with Science Books: A Quarterly
Review, published by the American Association for the
Advancement of Science, publishers of Science magazine.
- Editor with Arthur D. Little Corporation,
a management and technical consulting firm.
- Consultant for the National Endowment
for the Humanities, Washington, D.C.
Presently, James works as an educational
consultant in Boston, Massachusettes. He is co-founder of
The Heights School in suburban Washington, D.C. and founder
and first headmaster of Northridge School in suburban Chicago.
